Richard Fuchs Archive Trust

To preserve, publish and promote the works of Richard Fuchs

Richard Fuchs Archive Trust was launched in 2008 at Government House by the Governor-General of New Zealand, Hon. Anand Satyanand. The 200 guests included key figures from the music world and the occasion was marked by a chamber music concert with musicians from the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and Soprano Jenny Wollerman.

The original music scores are hand written works of art in themselves and require conservation storage. Originals are held in the Austrian Archive, the Leo Baeck Institute, New York, Turnbull Library, New Zealand  and others in the care of the family. There are also many letters, documents, paintings and architectural drawings which the archive holds. Most items are digitised and are available via email.
